I produced, engineered and mixed 4 song’s for him between 1994 and 1995 in the High Class Studio’s in Brownsville, Brooklyn. After cleaning up my studio and listening back to some old production’s i decided last year there was no point me having these tape’s and nobody ever hearing them he’s to important of an artist and to the culture and they need to be out there. I do still have another song in the Vault’s for a future project and its incredible.
The original recordings were recorded to a One Inch Ampex Tape though a Tube Tech pre-amp, with the rest of the samples printed from an Akai s950, triggered by Cubase running on a Atari 1040. I haven’t recorded vocals or mixed on tape for over 10 years so for the new mixes i had the tape digitized and dropped the stem’s into the lastest Cubase. I tried to keep the new mixes close to what i would of been doing back in the 90’s replacing the Lexicon PCM-42 & Tube Tech units with their digital version’s and keeping any new effects or tricks out of the mix.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_video link=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYsndpLf3Ks”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
